Hey, I'm Lahiru Hettiarachchi a Finance Professional turned Entrepreneur, Content Creator, and the founder of MonetizeIQ.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Peradeniya, one of Sri Lanka’s leading universities, where I built a strong grounding in financial principles, analysis, and business strategy. Alongside my degree, I pursued the CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) qualification — sharpening my skills in management accounting, financial strategy, and business decision-making.

I started my professional journey at KPMG and Moody’s, where I built a strong foundation in finance, analytical thinking, and problem-solving. The work was rigorous and the standards were high — exactly the environment I needed to sharpen my craft.

I developed expertise in financial modelling, credit analysis, and investment research — skills that would later become the backbone of everything I built.

While working full-time, I started freelancing on Upwork, gradually building relationships with clients around the world. That journey opened doors I never imagined.

I also founded Fundora Analytics, a finance consultancy that helps startups and growing businesses with financial modelling, FP&A, and strategic financial consulting.

My career eventually took me to the United Kingdom, where I worked with global organisations including Fitch Ratings and Valtech. During this time, I strengthened my technical expertise, consulting skills, and client management experience.

I helped startups, government organisations, and large corporations across the UK and Europe make better financial decisions.

Through MonetizeIQ, my mission is to help students, professionals, and aspiring entrepreneurs develop practical skills, manage their finances, build multiple income streams, and create businesses they truly own.

Everything I teach is based on real experience — not theory.
